Growing up in Ontario, Laura probably spent more time at practices and games than she did at school, trying to conquer every sport that was offered (except basketball).
She began her Kinesiology degree at the University of Guelph, and then later decided a sport’s business degree was more what she could foresee her career path steering towards. Laura moved to Monaco to pursue a business degree at the International University of Monaco where she ran the student athletic/sports program and then began working closely with some professional tennis players. Only carrying a Canadian passport, Laura returned to the homeland but could not leave the mountains and sea, so she booked a one way ticket on a Wednesday, and flew to Vancouver on a Thursday!
Upon arriving in Vancouver, she made it her mission to explore all the “boutique” studios that the city offered. She came in to a HIIT Cals Resistance class as her first Kondi class ever, and was hooked (dead…but hooked). She still balances her workouts out by frequenting lots of the different studios across the city, and if not there, she will be taking in the salty air running along the sea wall, swinging a forehand at Kits Beach Tennis Courts, going for gold in Urban Rec leagues, or seeking that new PB up at the Grouse Grind.
